Domestic Cleaner – Secure Lodge, Peterborough
Location: Peterborough
Pay Rate: £12.85 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 30–37 hours per week
Working Hours: Flexible shifts between 6:00am and 4:00pm
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Domestic Cleaner to join our team at a secure lodge in Peterborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and enjoys working in a professional environment. An Enhanced DBS for Children on the Update Service is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning communal areas, offices, bedrooms, and welfare facilities
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces
Cleaning and sanitising kitchens, bathrooms, and washroom facilities
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the site
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism within a secure environment
