Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 Bonus

Are you an experienced Facilities Maintenance Engineer with a solid background in building services? Do you enjoy a hands-on role where you can directly impact site performance, safety, and reliability?

We are seeking a proactive and technically capable individual to join a growing facilities team, maintaining and improving critical building services across a modern site in Bicester.

The RoleAs a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of site-wide mechanical and electrical systems. The position involves both planned preventative maintenance and reactive work across building infrastructure.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Operations
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across building services systems
Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
Diagnose faults, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions
Ensure all work is completed safely, following permit-to-work procedures
Respond to on-site issues including leaks, system faults, and general building repairs
Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to increase reliability
Support minor projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiativesWhat We’re Looking For
Experience in a facilities maintenance or building services environment (not production machinery)
Basic understanding of HVAC systems, plant rooms, heating systems, and electrics
Experience using or willingness to learn BMS (Building Management Systems)
Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving ability
Comfortable managing real-world building issues (repairs, faults, reactive maintenance)What’s on Offer
