The Role

This is a 4-day-per-week position teaching a settled and engaged Year 4 class. You will be responsible for delivering inspiring lessons, maintaining high expectations, and helping pupils make excellent progress as they continue their Key Stage 2 journey.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum.
Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress to ensure every child reaches their potential.
Supporting the academic and personal development of all learners.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Contributing to the broader life and ethos of the school.

About You

The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (applications from ECTs are also welcome).
Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
Have high expectations for pupil achievement and personal development.
Be an enthusiastic, reflective, and dedicated practitioner who enjoys working as part of a team.
