Deliver Engaging Lessons Across a Variety of Year Groups

A welcoming primary school in Wellingborough is seeking a PPA Teacher to join their team for an immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and adaptable educator to work across different classes, providing high-quality teaching while class teachers undertake their planning, preparation, and assessment time.

The school is open to applications from both qualified and unqualified teachers who have experience working with children and are confident leading lessons. This role offers excellent variety and the chance to gain experience across multiple year groups.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 classes
Maintain continuity of learning during teachers' PPA time
Create a positive and engaging learning environment for pupils
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and expectations
Adapt teaching approaches to suit different age groups and learning needs
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure pupils remain on track
Provide feedback on pupil participation and progress following lessons

Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential
Applications welcomed from unqualified teachers with relevant classroom experience
Confident teaching and managing classes independently
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Flexible and adaptable approach to working across different year groups
Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
Reliable, organised, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
