A supportive primary school in Northampton is looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced support professional who is confident leading learning activities and making a positive contribution across the school.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support learning, deliver interventions, and provide classroom cover when required. The school is seeking someone who can build strong relationships with pupils and help create an environment where every child can succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver planned learning activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes
Provide classroom cover in the absence of the class teacher when required

Work alongside teachers to prepare resources and support lesson delivery

Ideal Candidate

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience within a primary school setting
Previous experience supporting learning across multiple year groups
Confident delivering lessons and managing a classroom independently
Strong communication and organisational skills
Positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting pupils
Ability to build effective relationships with staff, pupils, and parents
Committed to helping children achieve their full potential
