The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Health & Safety Advisor to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is passionate about driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance across a variety of projects. You will be involved in refurbishment schemes, CAT A and CAT B office developments, high end retail and industrial developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert health & safety advice to managers and staff
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
* Support the development and implementation of H&S policies and procedures
* Investigate incidents and produce detailed reports with recommendations
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards
* Deliver training, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
* Promote a positive health & safety culture across all levels of the organisation
Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) – essential
* Proven experience in a similar Health & Safety role
* Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous construction experience
