A thriving and well-established engineering consultancy based in Reading is seeking a talented Senior or Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join its growing infrastructure team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced drainage professional who can confidently lead planning-stage drainage strategy projects, build strong client relationships, and mentor junior engineers within the team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering drainage strategies for a wide variety of development projects, working closely with clients from the early planning stages through to submission.
The Role
Prepare and lead planning-stage drainage strategy designs for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
Attend client meetings, site visits and stakeholder consultations.
Produce high-quality drainage strategies and supporting technical documentation.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the planning process.
Mentor, support and develop junior engineers within the team.
Work collaboratively with other specialist teams across the business.
Utilise Causeway Flow software for drainage design and analysis.
Take ownership of projects and deliver work with minimal supervision.
