Straight-line are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager / Site Supervisor to join our team on a project basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and coordinating subcontractors on site.
* Overseeing civil engineering works and ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.
* Supervising various trades, including electrical installation subcontractors.
* Reviewing and implementing RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures.
* Monitoring quality standards and site progress.
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders as required.
* Maintaining site records and reporting on project activities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in Site Management or Site Supervision roles.
* Previous experience managing multiple subcontractors on live construction sites.
* Strong understanding of RAMS, health & safety, and site compliance requirements.
* Experience coordinating electrical installation works and other specialist trades.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and proactively manage site activities.
Desirable:
* Civil engineering / groundworks background.
* Relevant site management qualifications and certifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, etc.).
Contract:
* Freelance / Contract position.
* Competitive day rate, dependent on experience.
