Year 6 Teacher

A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Islington is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 2 teacher to play a key role in preparing pupils for SATs and their transition to secondary school. The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements
Be confident preparing pupils for SATs while maintaining a broad and engaging curriculum
Have high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
Be committed to delivering creative and inspiring lessons
Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive teamThe school offers:
