Setting Out Engineer - High-End Residential Project

Daniel Owen are currently looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a high-end residential refurbishment project in London.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a prestigious existing building conversion where accuracy and attention to detail are critical. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out works on a room-by-room basis, ensuring all trades are working to the correct lines, levels, and dimensions throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out internal works within an existing high-end residential property.
Room-by-room setting out for partitions, joinery, finishes, and associated construction elements.
Interpreting and working from drawings and specifications.
Carrying out regular quality checks to ensure works are delivered to the highest standard.
Liaising closely with the Site Manager, subcontractors, and design team.
Maintaining accurate records and as-built information where required.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on residential or refurbishment projects.
Experience working within existing buildings and complex refurbishment environments.
Proficient in the use of total stations and surveying equipment.
Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
CSCS Card required.
