Are you a Senior Leader from a Manufacturing, Production or Industrial Operations background looking to take full ownership of operational performance within a growing and well established UK business, where you will have the autonomy to drive change, improve efficiency, and shape the long term direction of the operation?
Are you looking to join a forward thinking manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and long standing customer relationships, where you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and supporting future growth plans?
This well established UK manufacturing business has a strong heritage within specialist product supply and is known for delivering high quality solutions to a loyal and growing customer base. With continued expansion and investment, they are now looking to appoint a Operations Director to take full responsibility for end to end operational performance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior leader to step into a high impact role where you will have full autonomy across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, quality, and operational strategy working closely alongside the Finance Director. You will be instrumental in driving productivity, cost efficiency, and overall operational excellence across the business.
This is a varied and fast paced role, offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact from day one, while working closely with the senior leadership team to support long term strategic growth.
The Role:
* Full operational ownership across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and day to day operations
* Driving productivity, efficiency, cost control and continuous improvement initiatives
* Leading and developing operational teams to deliver high performance standards
* Implementing lean manufacturing and CI strategies across the business
* Ensuring compliance across health & safety, quality and regulatory standards
* Working closely with senior leadership on strategic planning and business growth
The Person:
* Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role (Operations Director, Head of Operations or similar)
* Strong background within manufacturing or industrial environments
* Track record of improving operational performance, efficiency and output
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at senior level
* Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
* Looking for a high impact role within a growing and ambitious UK business
