Crawley College, part of the Chichester College Group have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Lecturer in Beauty Therapy at our Chichester College campus. You will join us on a part time permanent bais. In return, we will offer a competitive salary pro rata.

30 hours per week - Pro rata of £27,785 - £43,325 per annum (i.e. £22,528.38 - £35,128.38), plus £494.66 Crawley Weighting Allowance per annum.
22.5 hours per week - Pro rata of £27,785 - £43,325 per annum (i.e. £16,896.28 - £26,346.28), plus £370.99 Crawley Weighting Allowance per annum.
The Lecturer in Beauty Therapy role:
Are you an experienced and passionate beauty therapy professional looking to inspire the next generation of beauty therapists, nail technicians or make-up artists? Crawley College is seeking a Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to join our fantastic team and help shape our students’ future careers in this exciting industry.
As a Lecturer in Beauty Therapy, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our engaged students. Your expertise and enthusiasm will ignite their passion for the beauty therapy sector, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel. You will have creative and innovative ideas to ensure teaching, learning, and assessment is at a very high standard.
Key Responsibilities of our Lecturer in Beauty Therapy:
Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, as agreed.
Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.
Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.
Contributing to the development of curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, and equality and diversity.
Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.
Keeping up-to-date with current issues, changes, and policies relating to the educational sector.
Our ideal Lecturer in Beauty Therapy should have the following skills and experience:
Level 3 (or equivalent) in related subject
Relevant industrial/commercial/subject experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
An understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups
Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines
Innovative and creative in meeting the needs of learners
To obtain an appropriate teaching qualification as defined by the Corporation
