Vehicle Technician role with a VAG-focused independent workshop in Lichfield, West Midlands. Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Vehicle Technician to service, maintain, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles to a high standard.
Benefits:
Salary up to £35,000 basic, dependent on experience (higher for senior Vehicle Technician-level)
Monday to Friday working pattern only, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Supportive, friendly workshop environmentDuties:
Perform routine servicing, maintenance, inspections and health checks as a Vehicle Technician
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete effective repairs
Undertake repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, exhausts and tyres
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify vehicle issues
Complete job cards, service records and documentation accurately
Work to health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised workshop
Support efficient throughput while maintaining quality workmanship as a Vehicle TechnicianRequirements:
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic or Service Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability across modern vehicle systems
Knowledge of repair procedures and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Proactive attitude with a consistent customer-focused approach
Full UK driving licence preferred
