An independent chemicals manufacturer is seeking a Technical Manager to lead engineering and technical operations at their growing site.

The business specialises in processing across various industries, and this role is key to their long-term succession and growth strategy.

The Role

You will take full ownership of site engineering, maintenance, CAPEX projects, and process improvement, with a high degree of autonomy to shape both short- and long-term strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading all technical and engineering operations across the site

* Designing and delivering CAPEX projects and new equipment installations

* Managing GMP validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and regulatory compliance

* Driving process improvements and root cause investigations

* Overseeing maintenance strategy, budget, and shutdown planning

* Acting as a technical interface with customers

About You

* Degree-qualified in Chemical Engineering (or similar)
