Key Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership and operational oversight across two elderly care homes, ensuring the highest standards of clinical and residential care are consistently delivered.
Maintain full compliance with all CQC regulations, company policies, safeguarding procedures, and statutory requirements.
Lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams, promoting a positive culture focused on quality care, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Take overall responsibility for occupancy levels, budgeting, financial performance, and effective resource management across both services.
Ensure exceptional resident experiences by promoting person-centred care, dignity, independence, and wellbeing always.
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators including compliance, staffing, agency usage, audits, incidents, and resident satisfaction.
Recruit, train, supervise, and support staff teams, ensuring high retention, performance management, and succession planning.
Oversee care planning, medication management, clinical governance, and risk management processes to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement action plans in response to audits, inspections, and feedback.
Ensure both homes maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and employees.Requirements Essential:
Exceptional Knowledge in the Elderly Healthcare Sector
Experience in similar role
RGN/RMN with elderly experience
Desirable:
NVQ Level 5
Flexible and willing to do nights and days if requiredBenefits
