Seymour John is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Telford for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a temporary maternity cover contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who enjoys delivering outstanding service and building positive relationships with customers. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient experience at every stage of their journey.
The Role
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, processing orders, resolving issues, and providing a high level of support across multiple communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing inbound customer enquiries via telephone, email and online channels
* Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Resolving customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
* Providing product and service information to customers
* Maintaining accurate customer records and updating internal systems
* Liaising with internal departments to ensure excellent customer outcomes
* Supporting the wider team with administrative and customer service tasks
About You
* Previous experience within a customer service or customer support role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
* A positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach
* Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
