Payroll Specialist - Plymouth

This position involves managing end-to-end payroll processing for a varied portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely delivery across multiple pay cycles, while maintaining compliance with current legislation.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage payroll processing across multiple pay cycles

* Administer statutory payments, including sick leave, parental leave, and holiday pay

* Support clients with workplace pension enrolment and ongoing compliance

* Maintain and update payroll records with a high level of accuracy

* Respond to client queries and provide clear guidance on payroll matters

* Work collaboratively within a team to meet strict deadlines

Person Profile

* Proven experience in payroll processing within a professional environment

* Prior exposure to bureau-style or multi-client payroll operations is advantageous

* Familiarity with payroll software platforms (e.g., BrightPay, Xero, or similar systems) is beneficial

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines under pressure

* Confident communicator with both written and verbal skills

* Competent in common office applications such as spreadsheets and email systems
