Maintenance Electrician - Glasgow - Salary up to £41,500

CBW are looking for a qualified Domestic Electrician to join a well-established electrical contractor delivering high-quality work across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Whether you're carrying out upgrades, fault finding or full rewires, you'll be part of a supportive team with a steady pipeline of long-term residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll be working in both occupied and vacant residential properties, undertaking a wide range of electrical installation and maintenance work while ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

Full and partial rewires
Consumer unit upgrades and replacements
Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out repairs
Installing sockets, switches and lighting circuits
Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Testing and inspecting electrical systems
Producing accurate certification and job documentation
Providing a professional service to customers at every visitPerson Specification:

You'll be an experienced domestic electrician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and enjoys solving problems on site.

Proven experience within domestic electrical installations
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
Confidence working independently and managing your own workload
Good communication and customer service skills
A full UK driving licence
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (Desirable - opportunity to attain this)
Previous experience completing EICRs and landlord certification (Desirable)Salary & Benefits:

Salary up to £41,500, depending on experience
Optional on-call rota with enhanced overtime rates
Company van and fuel card provided
23 days holiday including bank holidays
