We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager to join a successful and well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional looking to take ownership of the Quality Management System while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, ensuring compliance with external certifications, and supporting operational excellence throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, maintain and continuously develop the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
* Ensure compliance with all external quality certifications and accreditation requirements.
* Monitor industry and regulatory changes that could impact quality standards and business objectives.
* Identify, manage and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality, operational efficiency and business performance.
* Support departments across the business with quality-related best practices and process improvements.
* Manage, mentor and develop the quality team, providing training and support to maximise performance and professional development.
* Ensure quality policies, procedures and processes are effectively implemented and adhered to throughout the organisation.
* Coordinate and support external audits, certification visits and customer site visits.
* Work closely with senior management to contribute to wider operational and strategic objectives.
About You
* Previous experience in a Quality Manager position within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and external accreditation standards.
* Proven experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and managing projects.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
