An exciting opportunity has arisen with a premier healthcare informatics specialist renowned for managing complex cloud data migrations for major industry platforms.

We are seeking an Entry-Level/Junior Data Consultant with 1 - 2 years of commercial experience to support the transition of critical Legacy data into cutting-edge healthcare archive and EPR environments. This is an exceptional career-accelerator where you will receive dedicated mentorship and advanced training to master data migration, ETL processes, and electronic patient record (EPR) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Execution: Assist in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, and support the maintenance of migration scripts.
  • Quality & Integrity: Validate and test migrated data to identify, triage, and resolve complex data discrepancies.
  • Support & Collaborate: Partner with internal project managers, technical teams, and clinical staff to understand data requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of migration processes and provide regular updates on project progress.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of commercial experience in a data-centric, technical, or analytical role.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Health Informatics, or a related field.
  • Technical Foundations: Strong basic proficiency in SQL and foundational knowledge of database management systems (eg, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Desire to Learn: A keen interest in developing your Scripting skills (such as T-SQL or Python) and mastering complex data migration tools.
  • Right to Work: UK or Irish Citizenship is strictly required. Our client is unable to provide visa sponsorship or work permit assistance now or in the future.
  • Flexibility: Comfort working independently from home, with a willingness to travel occasionally for face-to-face company meetings or client site visits.
