Police Scotland are now recruiting for a Training Quality Assurance Officer to join the Quality Assurance team within Learning, Training and Development. In this role, you will assure quality of all training and educational products through the application of policies and processes which support the National Framework for Quality Assurance in Training.

You will work in partnership with training delivery, providing specialist advice on all quality assurance related matters, supporting continuous improvement and credit rating/accreditation/validation of educational products.

Please note - This is a part time vacancy of 30 hours per week. We offer flexibility in how these hours are worked and the specific arrangement can be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate at offer stage.

The base location will be Scottish Police College, Tulliallan with hybrid working in place. Travel will be expected to other sites dependent on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities -

* Ensure consistent application of the National Framework for Quality Assurance across Police training in Scotland and a range of relevant external partners.

* Support the continued recognition and development of credit rating body status under the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF), and Qualifications Scotland Approved Centre Status, and awarding of credit/qualifications.

* Undertake quality audits and focussed research on the impact and effectiveness of all training and educational products.

* Provide first line support and specialist advice and guidance on all Quality Assurance related matters.

* Deliver Quality Assurance workshops and training presentations as required for CPD purposes.
