Forklift Truck Operative – Banbury
£13.25 per hour | Rotating Shifts
We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Truck Operative to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation in Banbury.
Salary
£13.25 per hour
Shift PatternThis is a rotating weekly shift pattern:
Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Week 3: 10:00pm – 6:00am
Applicants must be able to work all three shift rotations.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a Forklift Truck when required.
Loading materials, with some tasks completed using the FLT.
Wrapping finished pallets using a pallet wrapping machine.
Scanning pallet IDs to confirm finished goods.
Supporting production machinery by preparing empty pallets.
Removing completed pallets from production areas.
Assisting with general warehouse and production duties as required.
Please note: This is not a full-time FLT driving role, and successful candidates will be expected to carry out a variety of warehouse and production support tasks alongside FLT duties.
Essential RequirementsCandidates must hold a valid FLT certificate issued within the last 3 years by one of the following accredited bodies:
Association of Industrial Truck Trainers (AITT)
Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register (ITSSAR)
Lantra Awards
National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS)
Road Transport Industry Training Board (RTITB)
Construction Industry Training Board (CITB)
What We're Looking For
Valid and in-date FLT certification from one of the approved accrediting bodies.
Previous warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail and accuracy when scanning and handling finished goods.
Reliable and flexible approach to shift work.
