Breakfast & After School Club Leader (Supply to Permanent Opportunity)

Location: A Primary School in Keighley
Contract: Supply Position with Potential for Permanent Appointment
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 8:30am and 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Pay: Competitive rates via The Supply Register

The Supply Register is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Keighley for a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast & After School Club Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and motivated individual to join a supportive school environment, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

As Club Leader, you will play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for children before and after the school day. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of educational and enjoyable activities that promote children's development, wellbeing and social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day operation of the Breakfast and After School Club.

Set up and organise a variety of educational, creative and engaging activities.

Ensure all children feel welcomed, included, settled and supported.

Supervise children in a safe and caring environment at all times.

Support and work collaboratively with other club staff members.

Encourage positive behaviour and promote a nurturing atmosphere.

Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing.

Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and school staff.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach.

The ability to lead activities that are both educational and engaging.

A strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
