Stock Controller
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 (Dependant on Experience)
Location: Farnborough
Hours: 7:30am – 4:15pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
An excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive Stock Controller to join a growing manufacturing business. You will be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy, managing inventory processes, and supporting the efficient flow of materials across the business. Working closely with Purchasing, Production, Accounts, and Warehouse teams, you will ensure stock levels are accurate, discrepancies are resolved, and operations run smoothly. This role would suit either an experienced Stock Controller or a motivated individual with warehouse or inventory experience looking to develop their career.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day receipt, inspection, and booking in of all goods entering the business.
Sign for check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
Identify and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the relevant departments.
Liaise closely with Purchasing regarding booking-in issues and purchase order discrepancies to the relevant departments.
Investigate invoice queries and work with the Accounts team to resolve issues.
Prepare and kit works orders efficiently to support production requirements.
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels using stock management systems.
Monitor warehouse and storage areas to ensure stock is stored correctly and safety.
Coordinate stock movements, returns, replenishment activities, and inventory control processes.
Support the Spares team with picking, packing, shipping, shortage reporting, an light assembly work.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently an take ownership of responsibilities.
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise workload effectively.
Proactive approach with a willingness to suggest improvements and efficiencies.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Experience within Goods In, Stores, Warehouse Operations, or Stock Control would be advantageous.
Experience using stock management, ERP or Warehouse systems would be beneficial
