Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery practitioner with a passion for leading a team?
Unity Education is seeking a Nursery practitioner to join a supportive and friendly Nursery based in Redbridge, on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join as the nursery is expanding and opportunities for progression will be available.
Key Responsibilities – Nursery practitioner
As the new Nursery practitioner, you will be required to help plan and deliver engaging learning activities, catering to the abilities of the students
Develop strong partnerships with parents and other organisations that impact on children’s development.
Ensuring that all staff are supported in their role using supervision and coaching.
Ensuring that staff working with children are suitable and have all safeguarding checks completed.
Organising parent visits to the settings before a child is registered.
Create a safe, nurturing and positive environment
Maintain smooth daily routines, encouraging positive play, and building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care
Observe, assess, and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework
Updating policies and procedures in line with OFSTED and EYFS framework
Have a good understanding of special educational needs so that children can be supported effectively
Key Requirements – Nursery practitioner
The successful Nursery practitioner will hold a Level 3 in Early Years (CACHE or Equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years working in an Early Years setting
A genuine passion for early years education and child development
Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
Using your own initiative and being proactive
Ability to lead a team effectively
