ERSG are partnering with a leading global consultancy to find an Electrical Engineer ready to step into a more commercial, strategic role within the energy and infrastructure sector.
This is a unique opportunity to take your technical expertise and apply it in a high-impact advisory environment, working with investors, lenders, and asset owners to shape major infrastructure and energy transactions.

What You'll Be Doing
Supporting technical due diligence on major energy and infrastructure transactions
Assessing high-voltage electrical systems (33kV-440kV) across a variety of assets
Identifying and communicating technical and commercial risks ("red flag" analysis)
Reviewing designs, asset condition, and regulatory compliance
Producing clear, commercially focused reports for investors and stakeholders
Engaging directly with clients, presenting insights in a concise and impactful wayThis is where engineering meets finance, strategy, and real-world decision-making.
What We're Looking For
Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (Master's or MBA advantageous)
Strong experience with HV electrical systems
Exposure to energy or infrastructure projects (renewables, utilities, grid, etc.)
Ability to translate complex technical detail into commercial insightWhy This Role Stands Out
Work on high-profile, global transactions across energy and infrastructure
Gain exposure to the investment side of engineering projects
Develop a highly sought-after skillset combining technical and commercial expertise
Be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary advisory team
