At Pertemps Education, we are proud to be working in partnership with a highly inclusive and nurturing primary school in Lambeth to recruit an outstanding KS2 Teacher for their dedicated Autism Resource Base (ARB).

This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to helping children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) achieve their full potential within a supportive specialist setting. The school offers a well-established resource base, small class sizes, and a collaborative approach involving therapists, support staff, and families to ensure every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role As the KS2 Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons for pupils with ASC and associated learning needs.
Create a structured, nurturing learning environment that promotes independence, communication, and positive outcomes.
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to support individual learning journeys.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Foster confidence, resilience, and social development through creative and inclusive teaching approaches.The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a teacher who has:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
Experience working with pupils with Autism, SEND, or within a specialist provision (desirable).
A strong understanding of autism-friendly strategies, including visual supports, communication approaches, and differentiated learning.
Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills.
A genuine passion for inclusive education.The School Offers:
