Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across Northamptonshire.
Whether you're looking for flexible day-to-day supply work, a long-term placement, or a permanent role, we have opportunities to suit your availability, experience, and career goals.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams, you will help create a positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting students with their learning across a range of subjects
Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis
Assisting students with additional learning needs
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and engagement
Supporting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
Encouraging student confidence, independence, and academic progress
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for education and supporting student development
The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
