The Opportunity

An established and growing construction business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join its operational team and oversee the successful delivery of a range of high-value construction projects.

Working across a diverse portfolio including commercial, healthcare, education, refurbishment, and new-build schemes, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day running of construction sites from inception through to completion
Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently
Monitor programme performance and proactively address any issues impacting delivery
Maintain high standards of quality throughout all stages of construction
Ensure compliance with all current health and safety legislation, company procedures, and industry regulations
Coordinate material deliveries, plant requirements, and site logistics
Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and project progression
Manage inspections, snagging processes, and quality control procedures through to handover
Support the commercial and project management teams in achieving successful project outcomes
Ensure all documentation and site records are maintained accurately and efficiently
Experience:

Previous experience working as a Site Manager within a main contractor environment
Proven track record delivering construction projects within live operational environments
Experience managing projects across sectors such as commercial, healthcare, education, residential, or refurbishment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Sound understanding of construction methodologies, programming, and site logistics
Good knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practice
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain positive working relationships
Qualifications

Essential:

SMSTS
CSCS Card
First Aid at Work
Desirable:

Relevant construction-related qualification
Temporary Works experience
