MIG & TIG Welder Fabricator – Join Our Team
We are seeking a skilled and motivated MIG & TIG Welder Fabricator to join our growing workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabricator to work on high-quality engineering projects, supporting the manufacture, maintenance, and repair of specialist equipment and structural steelwork.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard on steel components and assemblies.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
Fabricate, assemble, and repair equipment, plant attachments, and structural steelwork.
Perform cutting, grinding, fitting, and finishing operations as required.
Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and company standards.
Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for accuracy and quality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Support workshop maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Proven experience as a MIG and TIG Welder Fabricator.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and fabrication plans.
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and welding techniques.
Experience working with mild steel, structural steel, and heavy fabrication.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop environment.
Desirable
Relevant welding qualifications or certifications.
Experience working on construction, plant, heavy engineering, or industrial equipment.
Forklift, overhead crane, or lifting equipment experience.
Full UK driving licence.
