KS2 Teaching Assistant – Harrow / Brent (NW10)
Location: NW10, London
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school based in NW10. This is a general classroom-based role within Key Stage 2, with the opportunity to also provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN when required.
The school is well known for its welcoming atmosphere, supportive leadership team, and strong focus on staff development and progression.
The Role:
• Work across KS2 classes supporting teaching and learning
• Provide general classroom support to the class teacher
• Offer 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN where required
• Deliver small group interventions to support progress in core subjects
• Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupil needs
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience working within KS2
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
• SEN experience is desirable but not essential
• A proactive, caring and flexible approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
