Are you looking to start your career as a CAD Technician with a company delivering projects across some of the UK's most exciting sectors?
We are recruiting for a Junior CAD Technician to join a growing design team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AutoCAD experience who is eager to develop their technical skills while working on projects within the Data Centre, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Residential, Commercial Fit-Out, and Heritage sectors.
As a Junior CAD Technician, you will support the design team in the production of technical drawings and project documentation across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, you will gain valuable industry experience and receive ongoing training to help advance your career.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Producing and amending technical drawings using AutoCAD.
·Assisting with the preparation of plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
·Supporting project teams with design documentation and technical deliverables.
·Maintaining accurate drawing records and document control procedures.
·Ensuring all drawings meet company, client, and industry standards.
·Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other design professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
·Experience using AutoCAD through employment, education, or an apprenticeship.
·A qualification in CAD, Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or a related discipline.
·Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
·Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
·A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to develop a career in design and engineering.
