We are looking to recruit resilient and proactive Cover Supervisors to provide day-to-day supply support starting ASAP. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise pre-planned lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, maintain positive behaviour, build strong relationships with students and ensure learning continues effectively throughout the school day. A strong classroom presence and confidence in managing a variety of classroom environments will be essential for success in this role.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring or youth work setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The confidence to supervise lessons across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A resilient and adaptable approach to managing classroom environments
• A positive, professional and proactive attitude
