Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our professional Tamworth based client who are seeking an experienced Calibration Engineer to join their busy team.

Hours of work are Monday top Friday 9am to 5pm and a driving licence is required.

This is a hands-on calibration role with a strong customer site element.

You will attend customer sites, complete calibration work to defined methods, record results accurately, complete site visit information, and support certificate completion where authorised. When not attending customer sites, you will support the laboratory with equipment preparation, goods-in and goods-out, labelling, calibration records, and related technical work.

The role suits someone practical, reliable, and accurate who is comfortable working independently, following procedures, and representing the company professionally on customer sites.

Duities and tasks will include:

* Preparing for site calibration visits by checking scope, assets, calibration points, equipment, site details, and access requirements.

* Carrying out calibration work in line with company procedures and quality requirements.

* Recording calibration data accurately and promptly.

* Completing site visit records, follow-up notes, and completion information.

* Signing and uploading certificates where trained and authorised.

* Identifying and escalating out-of-tolerance results, failed calibrations, damaged equipment, access issues, or customer concerns.

* Supporting goods-in, goods-out, equipment preparation, labelling, testing, packing, and returns within the laboratory workflow.

* Supporting installation, service, or lab work where specifically planned.

* Maintaining professional conduct on customer sites.

Candidates welcone to apply for the role will have the following:

* Calibration visits are completed professionally and on time.

* Calibration records are accurate and complete.

* Certificates and completion information are not delayed by missing detail.

* Site issues are recorded and escalated while they are still actionable.

* Customers experience a professional, prepared engineer visit.

* Lab and customer service teams do not need to chase missing information after the work is complete.
