Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary School**

Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced **Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)** to join a supportive and welcoming primary school.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HLTA who enjoys a varied role and is capable of supporting teaching and learning across different year groups. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and leadership staff while also taking responsibility for leading lessons when required.
The school is looking for someone who can quickly become a valued member of the team and contribute positively to pupil progress and attainment.
**The Role:**
* Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
* Leading small-group interventions and booster sessions
* Supporting pupils of varying abilities and needs
* Assisting with assessment, tracking, and pupil progress monitoring
* Working closely with teachers and senior leaders to support school priorities
* Promoting positive behaviour and engagement across the classroom
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Holds HLTA status or a relevant Level 4 qualification
* Has recent experience working within a UK primary school
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
* Confident leading whole-class learning when required
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning
