Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 plus SEND Allowance of £2,787 - £5,497

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large maintained specialist provision in north-west Bristol that supports children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition, Severe Learning Difficulties and Complex Learning Difficulties. Operating across multiple sites, the provision is committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and achieve their full potential.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time permanent SEND Teacher from September. The successful SEND Teacher will work as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, delivering personalised learning opportunities, adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs and supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development across a range of age groups.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching within a SEND school or specialist educational setting
• Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD)
• Experience planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach to teaching and learning
