About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Brent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people's learning and development in a secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support students in the classroom, individually and in small groups
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
Support students with additional learning needs (SEND, EAL, or behavioural needs where required)
Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence
Support pupils' academic progress and social development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
A genuine interest in education and supporting student success
Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
