Salary: £92.63 – £95 per day (PAYE and Umbrella options available)
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible)

The Role
We are seeking a patient, empathetic, and resilient SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Elm Park. This role involves supporting pupils with various needs, which may include Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). You will work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCO to ensure that every child can access the curriculum and feel supported in their social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis to help them achieve their learning goals.
* Adapt learning materials to suit the specific needs and abilities of the students.
* Manage complex behaviours with a calm, positive, and consistent approach.
* Foster an inclusive environment where students feel safe and encouraged.
* Liaise with teachers and external professionals to track and report on pupil progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, care, or personal experience).
* Demonstrate high levels of patience, empathy, and a "child-first" mindset.
* Be proactive in identifying triggers and using de-escalation techniques.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
* Show a strong commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of vulnerable pupils.
