Senior Residential Care Worker - Children & Young People (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
Location: Halifax
Salary: £34,434 - £39,152 (NJC pt. 23-28) plus shift allowance
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week, including weekends, evenings, sleep-ins, and bank holidays)

Our client, a reputable provider of residential care, is hiring for a dedicated Senior Residential Care Worker to join their caring team in Brighouse. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people in a nurturing, trauma-informed environment guided by the PACE model, helping them feel safe, valued, and understood.

What you'll be doing:
* Delivering high-quality care tailored to each child's needs, including personal and intimate care where required
* Supporting children and young people's emotional, social, and physical development
* Building trusting, professional relationships with children, young people, and colleagues
* Contributing to care planning and safeguarding, ensuring coordinated support
* Engaging in ongoing training to enhance your practice and improve outcomes
* Promoting a safe, respectful environment that encourages growth and achievement

What you'll bring:
* Experience working in residential care with children and young people
* Level 4 Health & Social Care qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
* Strong relationship-building skills and a compassionate approach
* Organisational skills and confidence in managing responsibilities
* Flexibility and a team-oriented mindset
* Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
