Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is currently seeking a SCADA + Systems Integration Commissioning Engineer to join their team, working within the water sector. This is a contract position based in West Sussex, operating outside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning SCADA systems to ensure seamless integration within the existing water infrastructure
Collaborating with project teams to develop and implement effective control strategies
Conducting detailed testing and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems
Providing technical support for electrical and instrumentation installations
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications
Documenting commissioning procedures and results comprehensively
Offering expert advice on systems integration and process optimisation
Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and clients
Job Requirements:
Experience in controls and instrumentation systems
Proficiency in SCADA systems and their integration
Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation principles
Ability to perform detailed testing and commissioning tasks
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong understanding of industry standards and compliance
Effective communication and documentation abilities
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
