City of London | 9 Day Fortnight | Hybrid Working | Up to £70k

The Opportunity
This role offers the perfect balance of technical delivery, client engagement, and leadership responsibility.
You'll be trusted to lead projects from concept through to completion, work closely with clients and design teams, and support the development of junior engineers while helping drive the continued success of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the mechanical design delivery across a variety of building services projects
Develop innovative and practical HVAC solutions from concept through to detailed design
Manage project programmes, resources, and technical deliverables
Act as a key point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and wider project teams
Undertake design reviews and ensure technical excellence across projects
Mentor and support junior engineers, helping to develop the team's technical capability
Support business development activities and contribute to strengthening existing client relationships
Collaborate with sustainability, building physics, and electrical engineering teams to deliver integrated design solutionsWhat We're Looking For
Experience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy environment
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, building regulations, and industry best practice
Proven experience delivering projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, education, healthcare, science & research, or mixed-use developments
Experience leading projects and managing client relationships
Ability to mentor and develop engineers within a project team
Chartered status or working towards chartership would be advantageous
