Tennial Personnel are recruiting for reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join our client on a temporary-to-permanent basis, working Monday to Friday across split shifts of 7:00am – 12:00pm and 12:00pm – 5:30pm. The role offers a competitive hourly rate, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful 12-week qualifying period.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a professional working environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas remain clean, safe, and presentable while supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.

Due to the location of the sites and potential travel requirements between locations, candidates must have their own transport. The role is also subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check due to the nature of the working environment.

Duties will involve cleaning a variety of areas including office spaces, communal areas, corridors, washrooms, and other designated locations, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain office spaces, meeting rooms, and communal areas

Ensure corridors, entrances, and walkways remain clean and presentable

Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, and welfare facilities

Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately

Replenish cleaning supplies and consumables as required

Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Report maintenance issues or concerns to management

Complete cleaning schedules and tasks within designated timeframes

Carry out any other ad hoc duties requested by the employer

Skills Required

Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work

Good communication skills

Ability to work efficiently within a team environment

Understanding of health and safety practices within the workplace

Previous commercial cleaning experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Qualifications Required
No formal qualifications required but an understanding of Health and Safety and COSHH is beneficial
