Are you an experienced CISRS qualified Scaffolder looking to lead a team and play a key role in the growing renewable energy sector?

Job Title: Lead Scaffolder
Location: Forres, IV36 with travel and occasional overnight stays required
Salary: £42,200 – £44,790 per year and overtime available
Job Type: Permanent, 36.25 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding systems safely and efficiently across domestic and small commercial solar PV sites
• Lead, supervise, and support a small team of scaffolders and labourers
• Coordinate with planning and project delivery teams to schedule scaffold installation and removal in line with project timelines
• Ensure all scaffolding is compliant, properly inspected, and safe for use prior to handover
• Maintain high health & safety standards at all times, particularly when working at height
• Organise and prepare equipment, materials, tools, and transport (including scaffold vehicle operations where required)
• Support efficient delivery of multiple live solar projects by ensuring timely access solutions
• Identify, report, and escalate site risks, hazards, and operational issues promptly
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-organised working environments across all sites
• Support training and development of junior team members
• Contribute to continuous improvement in workflow, planning, and site efficiency

Requirements

Essential:
• CISRS Part 2 Scaffolding qualification (Advanced preferred)
• Proven experience as a scaffolder across multiple sites
• Experience leading or supervising a team
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and working at height
• Ability to plan, organise, and deliver work to tight project timelines
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong practical problem solving ability
• Ability to communicate effectively with site teams, contractors and stakeholders

Desirable:
• CISRS Advanced Scaffolder certification
• Scaffold inspection qualification
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• Experience in domestic or small commercial construction environments
• Experience within renewable energy or solar PV projects
• Experience mentoring or developing junior team members
