Lynx Employment Services are recruiting for an experienced Resolution and Tribunal Officer to support Suffolk County Council's Children and Young People Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with SEND, education, mediation or tribunal experience to play a key role in managing appeals, resolving disputes and supporting positive outcomes for children, young people and families.

## Key Responsibilities

Manage appeals to the First-tier Tribunal, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines and procedures.

Prepare and coordinate tribunal responses, evidence and documentation.

Facilitate mediation and resolution meetings to help resolve disputes at the earliest opportunity.

Represent the Local Authority at tribunal hearings.

Work closely with parents, carers, young people, schools, legal representatives and advocacy services.

Maintain accurate case records and ensure all documentation is up to date.

Support the effective resolution of SEND-related disputes and complaints.

Provide advice and guidance on tribunal processes and statutory requirements.
## Essential Experience

Experience managing SEND appeals and tribunal processes.
Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, EHCP processes and tribunal procedures.
Experience working with families, educational settings and legal representatives.
Excellent case management, communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
Strong report writing and record-keeping skills.
