Thera South West has an exciting opportunity available for a Female Support Worker to join our team based in Calne. You will join us on a permanent basis, full time, part time and relief basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £13.30 per hour.

Additional Information:

Full driving license preferred but not essential Sleep -ins required

The Female Support Worker role:

We are looking for a female support worker to join our team to support 4 individuals in their supported living home. You will be supporting the 4 individuals to maintain their home, learn new skills and to promote their independence. You will be supporting the individuals to access the community to attend appointments and social clubs, activities like swimming, going to the gym, going out for coffee, Lunch, bowling, going to the cinema, the list is endless!

You will be working alongside other staff where there is a real sense of teamwork, supporting people in their daily lives at home or getting out in the community with people. This can be a fun and rewarding but also at times challenging and demanding role.

Who are we looking for?

No previous experience or qualifications required

Full training will be provided

Compassionate, caring, confident and resilient

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Self-starter, with a high level of motivation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident, articulate, and professional

Keenness to learn in a fast-paced environment and creatively solve problems

Desire to embrace our values and vision and have fun!
