Rate: £90 - £120 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the School:

We are partnering with a fantastic specialist school in Leeds that supports students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including autism, learning disabilities, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. The school is dedicated to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive environment where every student can thrive.

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide individualised support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEN.
Assist in the delivery of tailored learning to meet EHCP goals and individual needs.
Support students with social and emotional development, as well as academic progress.
Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and adaptations that support inclusive education.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to help students engage with their learning.What We're Looking For:

Experience working with students with SEN, ideally within a school setting.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children with additional needs.
A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to helping children make progress.
Ability to adapt teaching methods and support strategies to suit individual students.
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).To be eligible, you must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application.
