About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and motivated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our welcoming and supportive team in Frome. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional looking to step into a leadership role and make a real difference in children's lives.
Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the setting
Lead and inspire a team of early years practitioners
Ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained
Assist with staff supervision, training, and development
Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers
Maintain compliance with OFSTED standards, policies, and procedures
Contribute to curriculum planning in line with the EYFS framework
Support occupancy growth and overall nursery performance
What We're Looking For
Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years / Childcare
Proven experience in a senior or supervisory role within a nursery
Strong leadership and organisational skills
In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for early childhood development and care
