Tig Welder

We’re looking for a TIG Welder to join a specialist manufacturing business in Chapel-en-le-Frith.
This is a 6 week temporary role suited to someone with at least 2 years of TIG welding experience, as you will be carrying out jig work and TIG welding stainless steel components for HGV truck bars.
What’s on offer?
* £16.30 - £18.00 p/h
* Mon – Fri | 7:30am – 5pm
* 6-week temporary role
* Potential for the role to continue further
What will you be doing as a TIG Welder?
* Carrying out TIG welding on stainless steel
* Working with materials between 1.6mm - 2.3mm
* Completing jig work
* Welding truck bars for HGVs
* Working on products used by manufacturers including Volvo, Scania and DAF
What will you need?
* At least 2 years of TIG welding experience
* Experience TIG welding stainless steel
* Confidence working with thinner materials
* Ability to carry out jig-based welding work
* TIG welding experience on aluminium (nice to have)
