A well-established manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of an 2x electrically biased Maintenance Engineers.
This is a permanent night shift position ( 8 hours- you'll get Friday to Sunday night off every week ) offering a stable working pattern, competitive salary and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment supporting a wide range of automated manufacturing equipment.
The Role
As part of the engineering team, you’ll be responsible for:
* Electrical fault finding and breakdown response
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
* Diagnosing faults on production and packaging machinery
* Working with PLC-controlled equipment
* Maintaining drives, motors, contactors, relays and control systems
* Supporting mechanical repairs where required
* Minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability
What We’re Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
* Electrically biased maintenance background
* Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or production environments
* Strong fault-finding ability
* Experience with:
* PLC fault finding
* Inverters and drives
* Motors and motor control systems
* Contactors and relays
* Sensors and control circuits
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
What’s On Offer

* 10pm - 6am | meaning you get Friday day through to Sunday evening off every week!
