Contract/Project
A leading Engineering company based in Portsmouth are looking for an experienced TIG/MIG Welder to join their fabrication team for an initial 3 month assignment with the possibility of extensions into next year.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Mostly TIG Welding (some MIG), fabrication on regulated aluminium products to 3mm
* Fabricate, weld and construct products according to the design drawings
* Ensure all materials are measured correctly and precisely
* Work to complete highest possible standards of production, health and safety, and customer service are maintained at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Relevant TIG Welding Qualification/experience.
Experience of aluminium and stainless steel fabrication.
Experience with hand and industrial tools.
Ability to manually handle up to 25kg.
Flexibility for overtime
Proof of working successfully as part of a team.
The role is based on a 37 hour week, early finish Friday with opportunity for overtime at x1.5
